The Journey of Devakanthi began 25 years ago with deep insight of Mr. A Haridas, Chairman of Unycare products, the powered hands who got NATIONAL AWARD for Bee keeping (MSME), and received State and District Level, Krishi Vijnan Kendra (KVK) and Akasavany (AIR) awards.
Our vision is to get natural and organic products with benefits for a healthy and happy life. Focusing on the future with range of products in skin care, hair care and more… We have our own manufacturing unit of Virgin Coconut Oil, coconut powder, Food products, Honey and Honey Products, Ayurvedic Products etc.
Mr.A.Haridasan, Cheriya Veettile House, Muzhappilangad, P.O., Kannur District is the proprietor of this unit. He has started this unit under the name “Unycare Products”, Nadal, P.O., Edakkad, Kannur District. Mr. Haridasan had evinced keen interest in Bee-keeping. Having more than 28 years’ experience in Beekeeping and allied apiculture activities, he has set up an apiary of apis cerona. In course of time he could develop his apiary with more than 2000 colonies. He is the founder member and President of Malabar Bee Keeper’s Society, P.O.Muzhappilangad, Kannur. He is actually a resource person and consultant in this field whose services are utilized by various agencies offering practical training in bee-keeping. Besides selling hives he offers assistance and training to aspiring beekeepers. Mr.Haridasan’s achievements as Bee Keeper has earned him a national award instituted by Khadi and Village Industries Commission
